This database is based on a generic format DBTNT (DataBase To Names and Taxa) using PostGreSQL, and focusing on a dynamic exploration of a systematic database where names and taxa are stored separately (Gallut C. et. al., 2005a & 2005b, Final Workshop Species 2000, 14th Oct. 2005, Stockholm, Sueden).
